Analysis application
The OMA-300 UV ZETA analyzer provides real-time concentration data by measuring the absorbance of liquids or gases and correlating the optical signal with the chemical concentration of the substance using Beer-Lambert’s law. The instrument employs a UV detector and simultaneously scans the wavelength range from 190 to 435 nanometers. Technical principle:
OMA’s ZETA spectrometer determines the concentration of chemical substances by monitoring changes in the ultraviolet absorption spectrum of a sample. The system measures absorbance in the 190–435 nm range and quantifies the intensity of light absorbed by the sample. The OMA instrument then converts this raw data into high-precision absorbance spectra.
For a spectrophotometer, the higher the transmittance, the more reliable the initial data you can obtain. These principles guided the design and development of the Zeta™ UV spectrophotometer—namely, maximizing light transmission while minimizing conventional optical noise as much as possible.
